We Don’t Charge for Scholarships – GETFund Warns Public

The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) has clarified that it does not charge any fees during its scholarship application or selection process.

In a statement, the Fund said no person or organisation has been given permission to collect money on its behalf for anything related to scholarship awards.

It warned the public to beware of fraudsters pretending to represent GETFund and asking for money in exchange for scholarships.

“These claims are false and should be ignored,” the statement said.

GETFund is encouraging anyone who is approached in this way to report it to the police or contact the GETFund office directly.

“GETFund will not be responsible for any money lost to these scams,” the statement added.
