Korean Company Donates Electric Vehicles to Ghanaian University

A Korean-based company, DB Kim Jun­ki Foundation, has donated four electric vehicles to the University of Environment and Sustainable Development at Bunso in Ghana. 

The vehicles, comprising three BYD electric saloon cars and one electric SAIC Dana Delivery Van, were presented to the university through the Education Ministry to enhance transportation efficiency and logistical support. 

Before the donation, the DB Kim Junki Foundation had constructed an Electric Vehicle Charging Bay at the Bunso campus. 

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Education Minister, expressed his appreciation to the Korean company for the support. 

He explained that the university, which would open this academic year, would focus on agriculture, science, and engineering.
