‘Having Too Many Sexual Partners As A Woman Can “Degrade” You’ – KiDi Reveals

Ghanaian music star KiDi, whose real name is Dennis Nana Dwamena, recently made headlines with his opinion about relationships and body count.

Speaking on the Rants, Bants, and Confessions podcast, KiDi said he believes a woman loses a part of herself every time she sleeps with a man.

According to him, body count (the number of people someone has had sex with) is important to him when choosing a partner. He explained that, in his view, most women form emotional bonds when they sleep with someone. So, when those relationships end, a piece of the woman’s soul is left with that man.

KiDi said that if a woman has had about 50 partners, by the time he meets her, she’s given away so much emotionally that there may be little left to connect with. He added that this is why he prefers women who haven’t been through that emotional “trauma.”

“This is how I feel. You don’t have to agree with me,” he said. “But I don’t want a woman who has given herself emotionally and physically to so many people. When I meet you, I want to meet the best version of you—not a version that’s been emotionally drained.”

When podcast host Efia Odo asked how sex could “degrade” a woman, KiDi responded by saying that men and women are different. He believes that women often sleep with men because of emotional connection, which makes the experience more personal for them.

He also said that body count matters to him because he wants to be proud of the woman he’s with. It would bother him to show affection in public, only to realize that many other men there have also been with his partner.

“If I’m calling you mine, introducing you to my family, and showing you off, then yes—it matters,” he said.
