Shatta Wale Admits He Still Loves Shatta Michy, Reflects on Heartbreak

Ghanaian reggae and dancehall star Shatta Wale has admitted he still has feelings for his ex-girlfriend, Shatta Michy.

Speaking on the Rants, Bants, and Confessions podcast, released on October 31, 2024, Shatta Wale opened up about their relationship, saying he tried his best to support Michy but felt his efforts weren’t appreciated.

Reflecting on their five-year relationship, he shared that he didn’t want it to end badly, although he remains uncertain about what lies ahead for them.

In his words;

“You see, Shatta Michy, she should know that I love her so much that I didn’t want to leave her. But she wasn’t appreciative of all that I did for her. I don’t want to go deep into it because it was a terrible memory”.
