The 2004 year group of Wesley Girls’ High School has launched a major fundraising campaign ahead of their hosting of the school’s 2026 Speech Day and Legacy Project. The launch took place on April 23, 2025, at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel in Accra, with strong support from alumni and invited guests.
At the event, the group introduced their Patron, Madam Araba Botchway (née Middleton-Mends), an alumna from the Class of 1984. Madam Botchway is the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid at Ashesi University and leads the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme. With over 20 years of experience in education and youth development, she is expected to guide and inspire the group throughout their preparations.
Known as the “Fantastic Fours,” the 2004 year group chose the theme “FOURtified, Unstoppable Together” to reflect their unity and commitment to excellence.
