Kotoko And Hearts ‘Unite In Grief’ At Vigil For Late Nana Pooley

In a powerful display of unity, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak fans came together at a vigil to honor Nana Pooley, a devoted Kotoko supporter who tragically passed away after being stabbed following a Ghana Premier League match on February 2, 2025.

The vigil, held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on February 9, saw fans from both rival clubs set aside their historic competition to mourn and remember Pooley, who had been a passionate advocate for the game.

The emotional event also featured Kotoko’s players, technical staff, and members of the management team, led by head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum, and former Black Stars coach James Kwasi Appiah, who all gathered to pay their respects.
