‘Nobody Should Tag Blakk Cedi As My Manager; Sammy Flex Remains In Charge’ – Shatta Wale

Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale has addressed rumors about his management, clarifying that Blakk Cedi, the former manager of Stonebwoy, is not managing him.

Speculation arose after Blakk Cedi expressed gratitude for being part of Shatta Wale’s successful performance at the Freedom Street Concert in Jamaica, organized by Vybz Kartel.

Blakk Cedi had shared a heartfelt message online, saying, “I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the opportunity to serve as part of your team during the Freedom Street Concert in Jamaica. Your unwavering respect, trust, and love throughout this process truly humbled me.”

Upon his return to Ghana on January 8, 2025, Shatta Wale clarified in an interview with JoyNews that while he appreciated Blakk Cedi’s support, his long-time manager, Sammy Flex, remains in charge of his career.

“Blakk Cedi only stepped in to assist during the concert,” Shatta Wale explained. “I don’t have a problem with anyone, including Stonebwoy. I’m ready to work with anyone who supports me. Shout out to Blakk Cedi for his contribution, but Sammy Flex is still my manager. Nobody should tag Blakk Cedi as managing Shatta Wale.”

The artist also thanked his fans for their unwavering support and announced plans to release more music and expand his business ventures in 2025.
