International superstar Beyoncé has donated $2.5 million to support victims of the recent devastating California wildfires through her foundation, BeyGOOD.
The wildfires, which ravaged parts of California, destroyed thousands of properties and left many families displaced. Beyoncé’s generous contribution was highlighted by The Shade Room, a popular gossip platform, via an Instagram post.
According to Variety, an American entertainment trade magazine, BeyGOOD’s donation will assist families in Altadena and Pasadena, as well as local churches and community centers.
The Shade Room shared: “Beyoncé’s foundation, BeyGOOD, has announced a $2.5 million donation to help with the wildfire recovery. According to @Variety, the funds will go to families in Altadena and Pasadena.”
