Ghanaian content creator Naana Donkor Arthur (NDA), now living in the United States, has shared how winning the American lottery at age 19 transformed her life.

Speaking in an interview with SammyKay Media, Naana recounted her journey from Agona Nyaakrom in Ghana’s Central Region to building a successful life abroad.

“I’m from Agona Nyaakrom, but I’ve been abroad for 24 years. I went to the U.S. through the American lottery,” Naana revealed, urging others to apply. “It’s free, and it works,” she added.

At the time she won, Naana had just completed her sewing apprenticeship, a skill she credits for helping her adapt to life in the U.S.

“When I went to America, I was 19, and I had finished learning sewing. That’s the skill I used to go there. You need a skill to help you when you move, and that was mine,” she explained.
