Evangelical Presby Church Ghana Supports Fire Victims At Saboba EP SHS

The Evangelical Presbyterian Church Ghana has stepped in to support fire victims at Saboba EP Senior High School following a devastating dormitory fire on January 22, which claimed the life of a first-year student and left many others without belongings.

Responding to the urgent need for assistance, the church, led by the Moderator of the General Assembly, donated essential relief items, including mattresses, sanitary pads, underwear, exercise books, sachet water, and hand sanitizers.

The school’s headmaster, Mr. Prosper Kofi Tedoku, expressed profound gratitude, emphasizing that the aid arrived at a critical time. He also appealed to the general public for further support in reconstructing the damaged dormitory.

The Saboba District Director of Education, Mr. Hayford Awuah, commended the church’s generosity and urged for additional assistance to help the students regain stability.

Students also shared their appreciation, noting that the relief items provided much-needed comfort in their difficult situation. Despite this support, the school continues to seek help in rebuilding the dormitory and improving living conditions for the affected students.
