“I Won’t Play Rashford No Matter What” – Amorim Gives Shocking Reason

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has made a definitive statement, saying he will not play Marcus Rashford “no matter what.”

This comes after Rashford was once again excluded from the matchday squad during United’s 3-1 defeat to Brighton in the Premier League on Sunday.

The decision fuels ongoing speculation regarding the 27-year-old’s future at Old Trafford, with many expecting him to leave United for a club abroad in January.

Despite the team’s struggles, Amorim remains firm in his stance, leaving Rashford on the sidelines.

When questioned after the loss to Brighton if he would consider recalling Rashford to the squad, Amorim stood by his decision, signaling that the forward’s exclusion is likely to continue.

In his words; “It is his choice [not to play]. I don’t want to focus on this bad moment because, in the games we lost, Rashford is not here.”

“I don’t want to put this moment on Rashford. Rashford is out of this moment because he is not playing.”

“No matter what, I am not going to put out a player I don’t believe is the best for the team.”
