Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has revealed that he voted for Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr in the 2024 Ballon d’Or, even though he himself did not make the 30-man shortlist.
Speaking to TNT Sports, Salah explained his choice, saying, “Vinicius Jr is a very good player. He’s improving every year, and hopefully, he can continue. I voted for him because he deserves it.”
Despite Salah’s vote, Manchester City midfielder Rodri was ultimately crowned the Ballon d’Or winner in October 2024.
