Liverpool manager Arne Slot has hailed Mohamed Salah as the best player in the world, citing his remarkable goals and assists record this season.
Speaking after Liverpool’s 5-0 victory over West Ham United on Sunday, Slot praised the Egyptian international, who scored in the match, for reaching new heights in his career.
“We didn’t know Mohamed Salah could get any better… but somehow he has,” Slot said. “Best player in the world? If you look at his numbers, you can’t argue with it.”
Salah, 32, currently leads the Premier League in both goals (17) and assists (13) this season. Having been with Liverpool for over seven seasons, he continues to break records and dominate the league.
Despite his incredible form, Salah’s future at Liverpool remains uncertain, as his contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
