Erik Ten Hag Linked To Borussia Dortmund Amid Managerial Speculation

Former Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has been linked to a potential managerial role at Borussia Dortmund in the future.

The 54-year-old, who departed Manchester United last October, has reportedly been a regular visitor to Dortmund since his dismissal.

According to Sky Germany, Ten Hag recently toured the club’s business area and held discussions with Dortmund’s technical director, Sven Mislintat.

He also has a strong relationship with Dortmund’s chief advisor, Matthias Sammer, who previously brought him to Bayern Munich as a reserve team coach.Ten Hag attended Dortmund’s recent 3-2 loss to Bayer Leverkusen on Friday, adding fuel to speculation about his connection with the Bundesliga club.

However, Dortmund’s management currently stands by their head coach, Nuri Sahin, despite the team’s recent struggles, with only one win in their last five league matches.

Dortmund is currently ninth in the Bundesliga table, with 25 points after 17 games. While there’s no immediate plan to replace Sahin, a continued run of poor results could prompt a change, potentially opening the door for Ten Hag in the future.
