The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially announced the dates for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates.
According to a letter dated January 24, 2025, from the Director of the Schools and Instructions Division, Prince Charles Agyemang-Duah, the BECE will take place from June 9 to June 16, 2025, while the WASSCE is scheduled from August 4 to September 19, 2025.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) will communicate the registration period to school heads at a later time.
Regional Directors of Education have been instructed to disseminate this information to relevant education officials and ensure that schools prepare their candidates adequately for the exams.
