‘I Know Where The Stolen State Funds Are Hidden, I Am Ready To Testify’ – Former NPP MP

Edward Ennin, a former Member of Parliament for Obuasi East under the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has made explosive claims about stolen state funds.

Speaking in an interview with UTV, Ennin stated that he knows where these funds are hidden and is ready to testify before any investigative body, including the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) committee.

Ennin alleged that significant amounts of money were misappropriated during the tenure of former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. He also revealed that foreign ambassadors and high commissioners are aware of where the funds were sent.

“I was in a meeting with three ambassadors from France, the UK, and the US, at the home of a prominent figure. The discussions we had were alarming, and they confirmed knowledge of the stolen funds being transferred abroad,” he disclosed.

Driven by a sense of duty to Ghana, Ennin expressed his readiness to present evidence at the appropriate time. “When the time comes, I will submit my proof. It’s time to put Ghana first,” he stated firmly.

Additionally, Ennin hinted at exposing government officials involved in illegal small-scale mining (galamsey), naming Members of Parliament and District Chief Executives as possible culprits.

He also mentioned a trip to Guyana, where he observed investments linked to Ghana’s oil resources, further fueling his resolve to reveal the truth.

Ennin’s claims have sparked public interest and raised serious questions about accountability and corruption in Ghana.
