Kumawood actor Lil Win has publicly apologized to fellow actress Martha Ankomah after appearing in court on November 5, 2024, over a defamation lawsuit she filed against him.

Martha Ankomah had previously filed a GH¢5 million defamation suit, which proceeded to an Accra High Court after Lil Win failed to reach an out-of-court settlement.

Following the court appearance, Lil Win went live on TikTok with his lawyer to apologize on behalf of himself and his Wezzy Empire team.

He explained that, after consulting his legal team and respected individuals, he chose to make a public apology to end the legal dispute.

Lil Win also asked his fans to support his apology, acknowledging that while his remarks were meant as humor, they caused emotional harm to Martha.

He expressed regret for his actions and assured fans he would refrain from making such remarks in the future.
