The Krontihene of Akyem Asoum, Nana Boadi Amponim Abodade III, has voiced his support for President-elect John Mahama, likening him to the biblical Good Samaritan who has come to save Ghana from its challenges.
Speaking in an interview with GHOne, Nana Abodade III criticized the current state of the nation, attributing its struggles to corrupt leadership.
He described Ghana as a nation “stripped naked and bleeding” due to mismanagement and looting. “We thank God that the good Lord is about to give the mantle to President Mahama,” the Krontihene said.
Drawing from Luke 10:29, he added, “The robbers have stolen all the goodies, but a Good Samaritan has come to rescue Ghana, restore her health, and recover what was taken.”
The Krontihene expressed optimism that Mahama’s leadership would bring positive change and help rebuild the nation for a better future.
