Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has criticized his team’s performance following their 2-1 loss to Manchester United on Sunday.
Silva described City’s play as reminiscent of “under-15s” and attributed the defeat to “stupid decisions.”
“We’re playing like under-15s at the moment. I don’t know what happened at the end. I think we played a very good game, and football at this level is about doing the little things properly,” Silva said.
He specifically cited the team’s handling of a corner kick in the 87th minute, which ultimately led to a penalty.
“You cannot make these stupid decisions. You pay the price,” Silva stated.
