Former Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins has expressed confidence in Victor Osimhen’s ability to transform Manchester United’s attacking prowess if he makes a potential move to the club.
Osimhen, who has been linked with several top European clubs, including Manchester United, has been in impressive form, after scoring 31 goals to help Napoli secure their first Serie A title in 33 years.
However, following a fallout with Napoli and their new manager, Antonio Conte, Osimhen joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal.
Despite this, he is still expected to leave Napoli this year, with a release clause of £63 million.Martins, in an interview with AfricaFoot, believes Osimhen would be a valuable addition to Manchester United’s squad.
“If he comes into this team, everything changes, especially in terms of the way they score goals,” Martins said.
“He has speed and power, but also finishing. He is one of the best finishers in Europe, and he has proven it in successive seasons.”
