Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is set to move out of his £8.5 million family home in Barcelona after separating from his wife, Cristina Serra.
The couple, who have been together for decades and married in 2014, share three children: Maria, 24, Marius, 22, and Valentina, 17.
Guardiola purchased the luxurious four-story property, previously owned by football legend Rafa Marquez, in 2021 through a company co-managed with his wife.
The mansion spans over 8,000 square feet and features a large swimming pool on a plot exceeding 22,000 square feet.Reports indicate the home has been used as a base for the couple’s “physical distancing” since Cristina relocated to Barcelona in 2021 to focus on her fashion business.
Despite living apart, they maintained a cordial relationship and spent holidays together with their children.Guardiola, 53, is expected to continue living in his £2.7 million home in Salford, while Cristina has been balancing her family business between Spain and London.
No third party was involved in the split, and the decision was described as a carefully-considered one over several months.
