The incident occurred shortly after Justin Kluivert had equalized for Bournemouth.As Chelsea launched a counter-attack, Cucurella sprinted down the left flank but was pulled down by Brooks, who appeared to grab his hair in the process.

The Spaniard fell to the ground holding his face, triggering a VAR review.Replays showed contact off the ball, prompting referee Robert Jones to review the footage.

Despite the apparent seriousness of the foul, Jones issued only a yellow card, sparking outrage among Chelsea fans. The Premier League later defended the decision, stating that the act didn’t meet the standard for violent conduct.
