Prempeh College Alumni Donate Staff Housing Facility

Published on

The 1996-year group of Prempeh College has handed over a 5-unit, 2-bedroom flat to the school, valued at GH¢550,000, to provide accommodation for non-teaching staff.

According to Mahmoud Seidu, the group’s president, “We wanted to stand out and set a pace by bringing relief to non-teaching staff, who play a vital role in making the college what it is.”

Very Reverend Lewis Asare, headmaster of Prempeh College, commended the alumni, saying, “Without the non-teaching staff, the whole system will be distorted [as] this befitting edifice is impressive.”

The group has previously donated 230 metal beds in 2016 and plans to establish a fund for needy students.
