The University of Ghana (UG) has issued a crucial update for prospective students following the release of the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results.
The university’s Academic Affairs Directorate is advising all applicants to log in to the UG applications portal to verify and update their details.
This includes their full name, date of birth, and examination records, such as index numbers, exam months, and years. Applicants are also reminded to review the 2023/2024 cut-off aggregates for various programmes, which are available on UG’s admissions website.
This information is intended to help candidates make informed and realistic programme choices. For those yet to apply, the university has confirmed that applications for the 2024/2025 academic year remain open.
E-vouchers can be purchased at designated banks or via the USSD code *887*9# on all mobile networks. The application portal will officially close at midnight on Friday, January 3, 2024.
Prospective students are encouraged to submit their applications promptly to avoid missing the deadline.
