Vivo Energy Ghana, in partnership with HR Focus Universe, has hosted the second edition of its ShePower Campus Mentorship Programme at the Accra Girls’ Senior High School.
This initiative aims to promote diversity and inclusion by empowering young women to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields and aspire to leadership roles.
The programme featured an all-female panel discussion, where accomplished professionals from Vivo Energy Ghana shared personal success stories, challenges, and mentorship advice tailored to encourage students to explore STEM pathways with confidence.
Shirley Tony Kum, Corporate Communications Manager of Vivo Energy Ghana, emphasized the importance of the initiative, stating, “Through ShePower, we aim to equip young girls with the knowledge and inspiration to challenge societal norms and pursue careers in STEM.
It’s all about fuelling change and building a brighter, more inclusive future.”The ShePower initiative is part of Vivo Energy Ghana’s commitment to advancing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 5 (Gender Equality) and nurturing the next generation of female leaders.
