“Vote For Bawumia” – President Akufo-Addo Urges Ghanaians

Published on

President Nana Akufo-Addo has called on Ghanaians to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate, in the upcoming December elections, urging them to avoid supporting former President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Akufo-Addo argued that voting for Mahama would reverse Ghana’s progress, as he believes the NDC lacks fresh ideas and effective policies to address the nation’s issues.

Speaking to chiefs and elders in the Western North Region, Akufo-Addo praised Dr. Bawumia as a leader who brings hope for Ghana’s growth and modernization, contrasting his vision with what he described as stagnation under previous NDC administrations.

He also criticized Mahama’s track record, referencing the collapse of Kumasi Brewery under his leadership and questioning the NDC’s vision for a 24-hour economy.

In his words;

“You want to implement a 24-hour economy, but the one you inherited, you couldn’t manage. Let us not make the mistake of going backward. Let us support Bawumia to lead Ghana to new heights.”
